CareLinx and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) are partnering to provide thousands of members with in-home care benefits and are looking for a caregiver near White Oak, NC. Care is needed Monday mornings and caregiver should be able to start on ASAP. This job is approximately 2 hours per week. You will play a pivotal role in relaying information back to Blue Cross NC through the use of digital care plans. The primary duties of this caregiver will include: : grooming ( assist with getting dressed and brushing her hair), toileting ( assist with getting to the bathroom/ getting cleaned up/chaning depends), mobility ( assist with getting up walking behind member for support h/5'2" w/200lbs), transportation (medical appts, run errands, grocery shopping, all local), meal prep (simple meals), light housekeeping ( changing bed linens, sweeping/mopping, clean bathroom), medication reminders ( remind member to take meds and assist with setting up weekly pill box), companionship ( visit with member who loves soap opera, play cards).
