We are looking for compassionate, kind, and dedicated people to help an individual with cerebral palsy complete his activities of daily life! Experience is preferred but not required. All training will be provided upon hiring. My name is Josh and I am a 33-year-old man with athetoid cerebral palsy. I use a communication device to talk to those around me. I attend Friends University and am super excited to graduate this May! In my free time, I enjoy watching gymnastics, figure skating, and listening to country music. I need assistance with daily activities such as eating, transferring in and out of my wheelchair, maneuvering my wheelchair, personal hygiene, toileting, light house keeping and transportation to and from errands/activities. I’m looking for someone who’s not only here to assist me but also to be a supportive companion and friend!
