We are seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to provide 1-on-1 support for our mother in her home near Danville, KY. She is a kind and stable individual with mobility challenges (non-ambulatory) who requires dedicated assistance with her daily routine. This is a private-pay opportunity in a respectful, family-managed environment, perfect for a professional who prefers the personalized pace of a private home. The primary responsibilities for this role include assisting with all activities of daily living, specifically focusing on safe transfers and mobility support. Daily duties will include meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. A key part of this role involves organizational support, including coordinating with a local wash-and-fold laundry service for weekly pickups and deliveries, ensuring all items are bagged and neatly stored upon return. We are looking for someone who can provide meaningful companionship and occasional transportation to local appointments. We are looking to fill a schedule of 20-25 hours per week with coverage needed 7 days a week across morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. This position begins around December 30, 2025. While we welcome all experienced caregivers, a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a definite plus given the mobility and transfer needs.
