I’m having outpatient cosmetic surgery under general anesthesia on September 14 and need someone to pick me up at discharge, take me home, and stay with me overnight until the following morning. I’m expected to be medically stable at discharge, but I’ll need help with walking, bathroom trips, meals/hydration, medication reminders, positioning, and general supervision. Have you cared for someone immediately after outpatient surgery before, and are you comfortable providing this type of care?
