I am looking for a live in female caregiver for my 85 year old mother with Alzheimer’s. Or really probably 2 people to split the week. I also have a 13 year old dog, so must be okay with pets. I work full time and basically need someone to take charge. Mom is probably in the moderate stage. She walks with a cane and takes herself to the bathroom. She can feed herself but not cook. She can dress, but needs help. I am looking for someone with significant experience with dementia as she is very intelligent and capable of being quite stubborn, though she is a genuinely nice person. Pay would preferably be weekly but daily (24 hours) is possible. She takes some medication and needs an ointment applied daily which occasionally results in wound care. Thank you. Duties and responsibilities of the caregiver will include bathing, dressing & grooming, toileting, companionship, meal prep, housekeeping, and transportation.
