I'm seeking multiple Caregivers to assist me in daily life. My ideal caregiver is empathetic, patient and values confidentiality. Responsibilities: I'm physically disabled and can't move my limbs so I need full assistance with Activities of Daily Living such as: Transfers to wheelchair and showerchair using Hoyer lift Dressing Bathing using shower chair with a roll in shower Personal Hygiene Meal Preparation/Feeding with feeding tube Light Housekeeping (cleaning after just me) Toileting Transport to Medical Appointments(Using my Vehicle) Pay is $23. 25 with no benefits through MaineCare section 19 self direct program. This is a w2 position. No experience or certifications are required. On the job training is provided. There are physical requirements for this job, candidates should be able to help me roll over and adjust sitting position. My caregivers are not expected to lift me but there is a minimum strength requirement of being able to lift 50 pounds to ensure safety. Candidates have choice of shifts during hiring process. Each shift is 10-11 hours, with one shift per day. Shifts available are; 7:15am-6:15pm Wed, Thurs, Friday; 8am-6pm Sat & Sun. Additionally there are three micro shifts 6:15pm-9:15pm available on weekdays. Up to 40 hours a week per carer.
