Male diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy in his early thirties, looking for a compassionate and caring personal care assistant to facilitate with day to day needs: assisting me at college with opening doors, taking notes, carrying books and other supplies. Accompany and assisting me during medical appointments, networking, recreational activities and social activities. Transporting me to such events via my wheelchair accessible van. Using the wheelchair van lift. Securing the wheelchair with the Q'Straints. Helping with feeding and meal prep. Occasionally helping with personal care. Aiding with range of motion and transferring in and out of wheelchair. Requirements: - Excellent moral and work ethic - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - ability to pass a criminal background check - Although no previous health care experience is required applicants must pass basic training. Schedule is negotiable. Hourly compensation is $10.50/Hr.
