We're looking for a kind, reliable caregiver to provide respite care for my dad, who is in the later stages of Parkinson’s and has mild dementia. My mom is his primary caregiver and needs a break a couple days a week. Schedule: 2 weekdays/week (flexible, Monday and Friday preferred) 8 hours/day, (between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Responsibilities include: - Mobility assistance and supervision - Companionship and conversation - Administering medications - Help with bathing, grooming, and toileting - Light housekeeping (laundry, dishwasher) as time allows Mainly, we need someone calm and attentive who can keep an eye on him, assist as needed, and help him stay safe and comfortable during the day. If you’re patient, compassionate, and have experience with Parkinson’s or dementia care, we’d love to hear from you.
