⸻ Need adult care provider for 41-year-old brother with Down Syndrome, primarily non-verbal. Incredibly sweet and happy disposition. His elderly mother will be home but does not need care and can offer guidance/support if needed. No housekeeping. Position starts week of October 13, every Wednesday from 12-4pm. Ongoing role. Pay is 16-17 an hour. Location is Ypsilanti Township. Duties: Greet/wake him after morning nap; direct to bathroom—he is toilet trained but wears Adults Depends as may urinate during naps and may need a change before lunch requiring assistance. Serve provided lunch (he feeds himself). After lunch, direct him to bathroom, then supervise play on couch with toys (rotate to keep him engaged) or allow tablet/movie upstairs. Support bathroom use as needed—he signals when he has to go, but reminders help. Assist with wiping after bowel movements. Let me know if interested.
