I am seeking a compassionate and highly reliable weekend caregiver in Sterling Heights for my husband, who is living with Parkinson’s dementia. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. I need someone with specific experience managing both the cognitive changes and physical mobility challenges associated with his condition. Responsibilities include strict medication management, dignified assistance with personal care and grooming, meal preparation, and helping with safe transfers and fall prevention, including navigating our dual-stairlift system. The ideal candidate will provide a calm, reassuring presence, understand techniques for dementia redirection and Parkinson's symptom fluctuations, and have verifiable references demonstrating this specialized experience.
