My mother is currently going through chemotherapy in her 80s that started in October. December she got a compressions fracture in one of her vertebra that has finally caused her to consider use getting her some help with her and my dad. The chemo has been shrinking the tumor and she is getting scheduled for surgery for both removing the remaining tumor and getting some vertebroplasty so she can be more mobile. Dad went through Covid-19 a few weeks ago and is still weak. We're looking for someone to help with transportation, light housekeeping, grooming, bathing, and all the things that need to get done to get her better. The care schedule will be 9a-5p Mondays throughs Friday most days but there will be days where the shift may start and end much earlier (e.g. 6a-2p), when mom has her treatments. So the ideal caregiver must have some flexibility for this. Caregiver must have a vehicle and a driver's license to be able to provide for the transportation needs.
