Looking for a caregiver for a young female with several chronic illnesses. I am also experiencing ongoing symptoms related to an undiagnosed condition that I am seeking answers for. Looking for help with tasks such as personal care, cooking, light cleaning, errands, helping coordinate other services, occasional driving. Potential for accompaniment to doctors appointments. 8-10 hours per week. Schedule is flexible/negotiable. Seeking a compassionate and understanding person. Prior caregiving experience not required, but would prefer someone with good references and/or experience with chronic health conditions. Seeking a person who is: - Quiet, organized, gentle, comforting - Kind and compassionate - Has car and able to drive - Able to lift things (up to 60 lbs - but heavy lifting not required often) - Likes dogs (not just tolerates them!) - Non-cigarette smoker (sorry, even when not working! The smell of cigarettes makes me incredibly sick. Vapes are usually fine but we would have to discuss) - Easy access to Starmount/Montclaire neighborhood Household is LGBTQ + friendly.
