CareLinx and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) are partnering to provide thousands of members with in-home care benefits and are looking for a caregiver near Cornelius, NC. Care is needed twice a week 3 to 4 hours and to be determined upon hire could possibly needed overnight and caregiver should be able to start on ASAP. This job is approximately 4 hours per week. You will play a pivotal role in relaying information back to Blue Cross NC through the use of digital care plans. The primary duties of this caregiver will include: help with shower h/5'1" w/113lbs ( bathing assistance, shampooing her hair wash her hair and back, dry her off has a shower bench) grooming (help her get dressed, dry her hair, put on lotion), toileting (assist her with getting to the bathroom, change and clean up depends), transfer/mobility (occasionally help her get up from the chair walk alongside her Fall risk), companionship (possibly sit with her at night) occasional meal prep ( fix her lunch), occasional light housekeeping ( do dishes after lunch, sweeping floor, wipe down the shower after the shower, clean the toilet), medication reminders (reminder her to take medication).
