CareLinx and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBS-NC) are partnering to provide thousands of members with in-home care benefits and are looking for a caregiver near Durham, NC. Care is needed Mon/Wed/Fri, shift is 9am to 12pm or 10am to 1pm but are willing to be flexible and the caregiver should be able to start on ASAP. This job is approximately 9 hrs per week through June and 6 hours per week through July or when the patient recovers. You will play a pivotal role in relaying information back to BCBS-NC through the use of digital care plans. The primary duties of this caregiver will include: Bathing – stand by assistance and wash her back and feet, Grooming – dress/undress, Companionship, Transportation – groc/shopping, Meal prep – diabetic diet and low cholesterol diet, Allergic to caffeine, no chocolates, or not red pepper seasonings AT ALL no spicy food, Light housekeeping/laundry.
