We are seeking a reliable, compassionate CNA or HHA to provide dedicated in-home care for a 94-year-old bedbound woman in Clifton Park, NY. This is a private-pay opportunity in a respectful, family-centered home. The position begins the afternoon of Friday, September 19, 2025, as the client transitions home from a nursing facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday coverage as the client adjusts. Total care hours are expected to be 40 hours/week for the foreseeable future, with potential to extend to full 7-day coverage. The client is calm and cognitively aware, but frail and anxious. Continuity and clear routines are essential. Responsibilities include bathing, incontinence care (diapers), repositioning every two hours, feeding support (soft meals and thickened liquids), light housekeeping in the care area, and companionship. Attention to detail is important—caregivers should monitor for early signs of health concerns like UTIs or skin issues. We are looking for a long-term fit and are building a small, trusted team of two caregivers to cover the full week. Ideal candidates have experience with home care, hospice, or frail elders. Private-duty experience is a plus. Candidates must be dependable, communicative, and emotionally aware. We look forward to welcoming someone who values consistent, respectful care.
