I am seeking a calm, reliable, and emotionally steady companion to provide part-time support in a private home setting. This is a non-clinical role focused on presence, consistency, and creating a comfortable environment. Schedule: Approximately 20 hours/week, primarily weekday evenings (some flexibility). Compensation: Up to $26/hr DOE with 20 guaranteed hours/week (paid even if not fully worked). About the Role: This position centers on companionship and support for anxiety, particularly when alone. This is not hands-on caregiving—rather, being a calm, steady presence. I will often be working independently, so you don’t need to be actively engaged at all times—just nearby and available. You’re welcome to work on your own projects or study during quiet periods. Some days will be spent at home; others may include low-key outings such as errands or trips into town (located in Eldorado, ~10 minutes south of Santa Fe). Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities: - Provide a calm, grounded presence - Accompany on occasional local outings or errands - Assist with light online boutique-related tasks (packing orders, inventory intake, etc.) - Maintain a dependable, consistent schedule Important Notes: - This is not a caregiving or housekeeping role - No personal care or cleaning duties are required Requirements: - Comfortable around animals (dogs and cats) - Trustworthy and respectful of privacy - Able to work independently while also being present and attentive - Flexible and adaptable Travel: - Very occasional domestic travel may be requested (this is rare). Expenses covered (airfare, hotel, food per diem). Ideal Candidate: - Calm, reliable, emotionally steady, and interested in a consistent, long-term role. Reliability and consistency are extremely important in this role.
