I am looking for a caregiver/companion for my mom. She will need light housework (dishes, laundry, wiping kitchen and bathroom surfaces, and light vacuuming), someone to take her for short walks, occasional transportation to her weekly balance class and occasional transport to doctor’s appointments, light meal prep, “chew and chat” companionship, medication reminders and assistance taking her BP and BG. Additional needs may arise as her needs change. She has a pug cross and an elderly cat, so you must be comfortable with animals. We are flexible as to the day but my mom doesn’t better with late morning/early afternoons. Right now, we are looking for assistance one day a week for 3 or so hours. Once we’ve found a good fit for her, that will increase to 2-3 days per week, and possibly more if her health declines further.
