Looking to hire a passionate and loyal caregiver to take care of 89 year old Grandmother, located in Bayard, NM. She is very sweet and kind but unfortunately is suffering from dementia. She lives with her adult son and elderly sister. Her son goes to dialysis Monday, Wednesday and Friday (11a-3p) and I am needing someone to be with her during this time as she has wondered off a couple of times. My grandmother is independent with her ADL's but needs supervision for safety, the position is mostly for companionship. She may also need to be taken to her doctor appointments. My grandma is very sweet and likes to go for rides to go eat at Blake's in Silver or for a walk around Wal-Mart. We are in the process of getting her approved for the New Mexicare program, which would transition to 17 hours a week. We are paying privately until we can get this in place, we would ask that you be open to going through the certification process.
