Seeking a kind, patient, & reliable live-in caregiver for my 81-year-old Mom. She is undergoing treatment for an illness & working on rebuilding her strength after a lengthy hospitalization. She is mentally sharp with no cognitive issues, BUT has physical limitations, uses a wheelchair, & requires assistance with bathing, dressing, bathroom/diaper changes, meal prep, medications, light housekeeping, & accompanying her to doctor appointments via local transport. She uses low-level oxygen, so experience with oxygen equipment is preferred. My Mom values her independence & enjoys resting, watching TV, & reading on her iPhone. She does not need constant entertainment, but does need the peace of mind of knowing someone is nearby if needed. We want someone to provide support while respecting her privacy & independence. References required.
