I am seeking an honest and dependable caregiver located near New York, NY to help care for Mother. I am in need of support 1 day per week in the morning and afternoon. 7.0 hours per week of assistance is needed to start April 04, 2019. My mom is 90 years old. She has a regular live-in home attendant who has Mondays off and while the first day I would like to have someone come falls on a Thursday, it will then turn to Mondays. I would like someone to make sure my mom is safe, cook her a healthy lunch, give her snacks and water throughout the day, keep the kitchen tidy and help her if she needs help answering the phone or making a call. She bathes herself but may need some help getting dressed. She uses a walker. She’s a very nice person-she loves to talk and share stories but she also appreciates her time alone. She enjoys watching MSNBC and complaining about Donald Trump. If you like Donald Trump, you probably shouldn’t apply for this job! 🤣
