PRN Caregiver – Special Needs Young Adult (In-Home)

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate caregiver to provide in-home support for our 19-year-old son who has an anoxic brain injury resulting in global developmental delay. He is a happy, stable young man with well-managed medical needs. This is a PRN (as-needed) position to cover shifts when his regular nursing agency has short-notice call-offs. Care Responsibilities Include: • Repositioning every two hours • Diaper changes and bed changes as needed • Monitoring for safety during seizures (seizures are well-managed and typically brief) • General supervision and attentive care Shift Times: • 6:15 AM – 6:15 PM • 6:15 PM – 6:15 AM Shifts vary depending on nursing call-offs and may be needed any day of the week. We are looking for someone who is reliable, calm under pressure, and comfortable in a medically involved home environment. Experience with special needs, seizure monitoring, or personal care is preferred. Must be dependable and able to respond on short notice when available.
