CareLinx and UnitedHealthcare (UHC) are partnering to provide thousands of UHC members with in-home care benefits and are looking for a caregiver near Austin, TX . Care is needed Tuesday and Thursdays and the caregiver should be able to start ASAP. This job is approximately 2-4 hours per week. You will play a pivotal role in relaying information back to UHC through the use of digital care plans. The primary duties of this caregiver will include: 🛁Bathing: Yes (Help with showering) 💇♀️Grooming: Yes after shower getting dressed 🏃♀️Transferring and Mobility: Fall Risk Needs support and confidence Walk with member Exercise with hiking poles.👩🦳👨🦳Equipment (walker, cane, wheelchair?): Walking Stick 🚕Transportation: Needs Transportation to the Y, 👫Companionship: Wife needs to run errands to stay with member ,🍔🍟Meal Prep: Yes occasional lunch made, 👚Laundry/Housekeeping: Yes (Sweeps kitchen, wiping down surfaces) ,💊Medication Reminders: Yes, Possible help with charging neurotransmitters.
