I am a disabled Vietnam Vet who is a quadriplegic, suffering from Parkinson's, ulcerative colitis, and diabetes. I am seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable caregiver to provide dedicated in-home assistance and support. The primary goal is to enhance my quality of life by ensuring my safety, comfort, and independence while working closely with the family and healthcare professionals to follow a personalized care plan. Key responsibilities include: personal care assistance, household support (light housekeeping duties, including laundry, washing dishes, vacuuming/mopping), meal preparation, companionship & emotional support, transportation (shopping, to/from doctor appointments, and other errands), mobility support (safe transfers to/from bed/wheelchair) using specialized equipment (no Hoyer, rather a ceiling lift), personal care assistance (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and eating, health monitoring & management (medication administration on schedule, vital signs, skin care protocols to prevent pressure sores, and bowel and bladder management routines). I have my own specialized vehicle. I am looking for care 7 days/week.
