CareLinx and the VA are partnering to provide thousands of Veterans with in-home care benefits and are looking for a caregiver/homecare aide near Richmond, VA. Care is needed on Mondays-Fridays from 8:00 AM - 3:45 PM (NON-NEGOTIABLE) and caregiver should be able to start 03/16/2026. This job is approximately 35 hours per week. The primary duties of this caregiver will include: bathing, grooming (assisting veteran with getting dressed and putting on hearing aides and glasses), toileting (changing incontinence briefs), companionship (walking with the veteran, using flash cards to keep his mind alert), light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, cleaning bathroom), meal preparation (making breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and may need to help veteran eat), and medication reminders. All applicants will be considered. Experience with Alzheimer's and/or Dementia preferred. Please note, qualifying for this job will allow you to work with other members under this elite program.
