This care involves light house keeping, laundry, pet care (cat), bathing encouragement and some occasional assistance, homemade meal preparation, errands such as grocery shopping and prescription pickup, transportation to places such as the doctor, hair salon, nail salon, shopping etc, and encouragement with planning and doing activities outside of the home. Caregiver Debit Card: For the purpose of making purchases on my mother's behalf I use a special debit card from GreenLight which will be in the caregiver's name. Transportation Reimbursement: No, but state and federal law allows for estimating and deducting these from taxes. Hours: 10-15 hrs/week, preferably 5 days a week but I am very flexible. Pay Method: I use HomePay payroll service which provides W2, tax withholding, and direct deposit. This position will need to start ASAP.
