Location: SE Portland. Patient: 75 years old, Stage 4 lung cancer, early dementia, rehabilitating from hip surgery. Loves company and talking. Work scope: bathing, toileting, transfers, walking indoors and outdoors, medicine administration, light meals, sweeping/mopping, companionship activities (games, conversations), letting dogs outside once/day into gated yard. No vehicle needed (no shopping/errands). Desired attributes: experienced in senior/cancer/dementia care, compassionate, dependable, safe, good communicator. No smoking. Location: spacious home with large garden, off-street parking. 3 indoor dogs (Chihuahua, Rat Terrier, chihuahua/Corgi mix), 1 indoor cat. Lives with two other family members who work full-time. Preferred schedule: Wednesdays & Fridays, 8:30-5:30, some flexibility, as we can coordinate with family work schedule.
