I started out as a Mental Health worker. As a mental Health worker, I was extensively trained to work with elderly, adults, and adolescence. Of those five years, I realized that I really enjoyed caring for the elderly. When my mother became very ill, I took my experiences and took care of her. I knew that this was what I wanted to do. We will all grow older, and we will need someone to love and care for us. I am strong, loving, caring, most of all understanding and patient. It is a humbling experience. . I promise to care for your family member as I would my own, and that's saying alot..I have been very fortunate to care for these beautiful souls, and has learned alot from them, most people will never experience this journey. It takes a special kind of person to do this type of work, and I am one of these people. I have 11 yrs experience.

Helping the elders is my passion. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing.
I decided after 18 years in my old career field that I was going to spend the rest of my working years doing something that I found rewarding. That desire led me to become a CNA. I enjoy helping others even if that means just talking when they need someone to talk to. I think that the elderly in particular have a wealth of knowledge and experiences that are overlooked by most people. I have sincere compassion for anyone that has an impairment or is seemingly forgotten. I'm very proud that I was able to go back to school and accomplish my goal of becoming a CNA. When I took my certification exam there was a lot of teens and twenty somethings there and most of them didn't pass. I'm a levelheaded, easy going, compassionate person and I enjoy people. I find contentment in the simple things in life and helping someone is at the top of the list.
Skills & Certifications: BCLS for Healthcare Providers(CPR & AED), Certified Nursing Assistant
I'm good at taking care of others cause that's what I love to do. Working with senior is not just a regular job you learn from them and you get to know them. You grow to love them and it's no longer a job you begin to start feeling like family. I have been 8 working with people for almost eight years or more now.
