What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is just the one on one care I get to my clients because they become my family what I love most is that I learn every day love makes a difference. I've been a caregiver for about 10 plus years I'm a mom to an amazing daughter who's going to school to be an EMT I come from a family that is in the medical field my sister is a retired firefighter . I've cared for many different plants including family members comme Des Companion Care Dementia Alzheimer's Parkinson's to end of lifealong with hospice care

I have patience, passion, compassion and many more, what attracted me to being a caregiver was my grandfather whom i took care of for many years before he passed. What i enjoy most about being a caregiver is the companionship and caring for someone who needs it. A personal achievement i am proud of is being able to help my family and other family's with their loved one's. The companionship has touched my heart, providing emotional support and helping my aunt and another lady i cared for to feel as comfortable as possible near the end of their life.

I was introduced to the world of healthcare and caregiving when I was just a child transitioning into my teen years. I took care of my grandmother when she was ill up until she passed and she would constantly tell me how fine of a nurse I would be. It was this experience that attracted me to the field of caregiving. Following this I took some CNA classes and it was caregiving from there. I have a passion for helping people and being a caregiver has enabled me to fulfill this passion. It joys me to see my patients happy and full of positivity. It makes me smile to know that the care I provide can make them feel better, and makes them feel comfortable, allowing them to feel loved and cared for. This is what I enjoy most about my field of work. I am a great listener and pay much attention to their needs, and their care, and am a very effective communicator. I love being a caregiver.

What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? I'm a naturally compassionate and patient person, and I've always been someone who others feel comfortable around. I take pride in being a good listener and staying calm in stressful situations. These traits really help me connect with the people I care for and make sure they feel safe, supported, and respected. What attracted you to being a caregiver? I've always loved helping others, and I knew from an early age that I wanted to do something meaningful with my time and energy. Being a caregiver allows me to make a real difference in someone's life every day, whether it's through providing physical support or just being there emotionally for someone who needs it. That's what drew me to this field. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? What I enjoy most is building relationships with the people I care for. Even small moments like sharing a laugh, offering comfort, or seeing someone feel more at ease because of something I did mean a lot to me. It's incredibly fulfilling to know that I'm having a positive impact on someone's life. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? One personal achievement I'm really proud of is that I'm currently in college and doing well in my classes. Balancing school and caregiving can be challenging at times, but I stay motivated because I know it's all part of building the future I want one where I can continue helping people in an even bigger way.

In the facility that I currently work in, I work with many residents with varying degrees of dependence. This has helped me to take care of multiple residents while giving quality individualized care. I decided to become a care giver a few years ago because I have always wanted to help others. So far, the best part of giving care is seeing how much my assistance positively impacts my residents' lives. In March of 2018, I began my first job that would launch me into becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant a couple months later after receiving training within the company. I am thankful and proud that I chose to become a Nursing Assistant. Now, I take care of a client 21 hours a week including heavy house keeping, running errands, and fixing appliances.

I enjoy helping people. I am very patient and have a lot of compassion and empathy. I enjoy seeing people be successful in life and try to help others achieve their personal goals. I love the outdoors, camping, fishing, gardening and traveling

I get along with all clients in respect to their beliefs. Open and honest with the best care I am able to provide. Laughter is great medicine. My daughter Ashley was born with Hydrocephylis and Cerebral palsy which required 24/7 loving care for 15 years. I enjoy caring for patients who rely on the best care and allowing them to continue to live life with laughter and not focus on their challenges. I am proud of completing the necessary courses to be a caregiver outside of my personal endeavors. I am also a Certified Food Handler and have completed 88 classroom hours under ALCTP-0017 CC Health care Training on September 2015. Also carry a clearance card with the State of Arizona Department of Public Safety.
