I have and continue to be passionate about caring for people and feel very blessed to have this as my career. I believe that one should always treat others the way they want to treated, with respect, patience, dignity, and kindness. I enjoy caring for people and loving what you do is most important to me. My daughter Saturday has shown me everyday what a gift it is to have such love and compassion for others and also having taken care of my elderly parents has been a gift so it is my family that attracts me to the career in Caregiving. What I enjoy most about Caregiving is knowing that I have made each day more positive and hopefully helped someone to feel better emotionally and physically. A personal achievement I am most proud of is my volunteer work at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital where I was assigned to the Oncology Unit and working just to make the children on that unit love, play, or do artwork taught me how precious life is and how even the smallest kindness matters more than we know. Request pay is $27/hr. Negotiable pay based on location and hours.

What makes me a great caregiver. Well it's easy to answer my love, compassion, respect for elderly I've a caregiver since 2010 because taking care of a good friend whom had several health issues later on she convinced me to get my certification in order to work with others in need of help she thought I could be great in the field needless to say love the health care field I'm taking classes to enroll into the nursing program pretty soon. Have some other certifications like certificate to administrate medications, O2 equipment, mental illness,trained to use medical equipment as well. I have had many different cases in the past. I feel pretty comfortable providing total care.

I have always had a passion for helping seniors even as a very young adult. I cared for my grandmother with love and patience, but always with the respect and dignity that she deserved. I feel most comfortable when in the caregiving position. My strengths are empathy, compassion and patience..always with a smile! I am very reliable and punctual. I have extensive experience working with seniors in many different capacities, from parkinsons, MS, alzheimers, dementia, stroke, and wheelchair bound. I have worked in hospital settings as a CNA, nursing homes, hospice centers, and assisted living centers. I helped with all ADL's, including bathing, transfers, errands, meal prep, toileting, light housekeeping and engaging in social activities with clients including walks, cards and games! I would love the opportunity to help your loved one remain independent in their own home while providing safe care and companionship to them!

i am very passionate about making a difference with my clients good will not just do it is about going the extra mile to exceed expectations . My clients aren't just case flies they're real people who i admire and treat everyone of them with respect just as i would want someone to treat my grandparents or parents the same. What i love most about caregiving is " helping with happier aging ". Knowing that i made a difference in my clients lives makes the job well worth it.

Four years ago I retired from nursing. Recently, I moved to Phoenix Arizona to be near family. I have one married daughter in Phoenix where I presently reside, and another married daughter in Peoria. My daughter and son-in-law in Peoria have one daughter and are currently expecting their second child. Prior to moving here, my most recent pertinent work experience was as a homecare non-medical provider to an senior woman in her Kansas home. Though hired as "non-medical care provider" much of my assistance with this woman did revolve around her medical needs as she was an end-stage cancer patient, as well as diabetic. I helped manage her medication schedule, transportation and ensuring she went to medical/doctor appointments. I also monitored her daily health needs such as blood pressure, blood sugars, etc. I would like to care for you or a loved one in your home, and assist you with some of your care needs. I am willing to assist with light housekeeping, meal preparations, exercise/physical therapy programs, transportation and occasional errands or grocery shopping. I became a caregiver because I took care of my old mother that needed help and couldn't care for herself people came in my house and did not give my mother the cares that she needed and I felt so sorry for her so I had to leave one of my job to help her. 2. Being a caregiver I like helping older people meet their needs helping them reach their goals and seeing smiles on their faces.My personal achievement that I am proud of when I go to work and I make my resident smile and they know that they have someone every day to look up to that make them to feel they are love and care for. Hello my name is sonja im a certified caregiver been certified since 2011 I specialize in dementia and alzheimer i have special training for that as well. I also have lots of experience working with elderly that dont have dementia or any other memory impairments. This is definitely my calling i love being around elderly people and being able to help them in any way i can i treat them as if they were my own grandparents because i would want the same for mine
