To answer the first question, what makes me a great Caregiver? Ans. I do extra miles. Listen to the needs of a client. Have patuent & compassion and be supportive to the family. I am reliable, dependable, and very helpful. Iam honest & trustworthy. I am punctual, hardworking and responsible. Second question: Why did you become a caregiver? Ans. Because it is my passion to help others especially for seniors that really need help. Third question: What do you like about being a Caregiver? Ans. I like being a caregiver because I am able to help and take care of the seniors like my parents and make them happy. Fourth or last question: What is a personal achievement you are proud of? Ans. There is only one thing that I felt achieved in my job is to make my client happy of what I have done to them. For me, that is my greatest achievement.
Im become a caregiver when I was 15 years old, taking care of my grand father and he passed away at age of 105 years old. I like being a caregiver so I can help people that really need someone around to help them. I am proud of my self after one year working as a care giver. And decided went to school to get my CNA Certificate that's what I'm really proud of and also I'm proud of my self that I can help someone. Well I have the experience working in Alzheimer's unit for over 11 years, I'm assisting passing medication to the people who reside in that department. I provide personal care. Experience to work in Nursing home for over 3 years, and Rehab Center. I did private home duty and I am a hard worker honest person.
First I toke CNA back in 1995 in Bakersfield,Ca.toke my whole class training at Beverly Manor Convalescent and stayed for six months prior to working at Hospital at San Joaquin Community Hospital from August 1996 to 1998.,then we moved to Phoenix,Az.then in 1999 Mayo Clinic Hospital giving me an oppurnity to worked for almost 8 years as a CNA Med.Surgical floor.I did vital signs,assist patients with ADL's.,Ambulation,feeding,bathing,bed making.I and O,Charting,transfer patient,Assist nursing staff with delegated task of direct and indirect patient care.I like being a care giver because i felt am able express my worth as human being to able help somebody and felt like am contributing something to people that needs my help.my personal achievement that i am of i was travel to travel for missionary works like Medical missions,dental mission,one of trip we gave away school bags packed with school supplies,right now we feeding program for feeding program,all these is the Philippines.I was born in Philippines,Migrated to USA in 1987 petetion by my wife because she is an RN.we had 2 childrens now 27 years and 22 years with two grand childrens,loved to play tennis.i will 55 years this December not ready to retire yet.

serving 7 years, in facility. group home, taking care of elderly , at 2 states AZ and Cal. for seven yrs experience i was proud of being to be called: " proud of my loyalty" and as a caregiver responsibility never been possible never make mistake taking care of their (pt) needs. and daily need. i would say that caregiver for me i am learning this is for my first stepping stone for my medical field management. as what i say this is the first step and learn experienced on my medicine field and in the future career...
I want to become a caregiver because I believe my purpose in life is to care for others. I was born in the beautiful islands of Hawaii and was raised by a family that taught be the importance of family and caring for one another. I find joy and comfort in making others feel better. I have been in the Medical Field since I was 18 years old and continue to learn from each direction I take. I am a certified Medical Assistant in which I have worked for many medical specialists. I have worked in the VA with Veterans, Primary Care, Family Care, General Surgery, Urology and Orthopedics. I am also continuing my education to become a Nurse. Overall I am a very patient and understanding person. I listen and observe others in order to provide the best care possible to that person. I would love to be part of a team that had the same interests as me!
Making a difference in one's life and creating an impact is the main reason why I become a caregiver. The sense of fulfillment it gives whenever I know that I help a person makes me LOVE this job. I take pride in helping my clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities achieved their goals. I have experience working in a group home. I am a compassionate, outgoing and very caring individual.
