Hello My name is Traci, I have been a CNA at Union Country Nursing Home in Blairsville Ga, however when I went into private care I did not reup my license in Ga because I had taken a job in Florida, I have ran a home for 12 ppl with special needs and have been a live in aid for 2 woman, who have since passed, I now care for 2 ppl and can help in all areas of activities for daily living, transfers to and from bed, in and out of car, meal prep, meditation reminders, escorts to doctor appointments

I'm a Christian mom and wife .. I love helping the elderly and disabled... I've worked in health care off and on for almost 18 years...

I'm very compassionate and understanding of other people and their feelings, I love helping others. Even as a kid I knew I wanted to help elderly or disabled people in any way I could. I enjoy making my clients happy and helping them with tasks they may not be able to do anymore. I am proud of how many skills I have learned over the years and all the certifications I have gotten!

I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHY I BECAME A CAREGIVER I JUST KNOW WHEN I WAS 19 I BECAME A CNA I JUST ENJOYED IT AND DECIDED I WOULD LOVE TO DO THIS AS A JOB BECAUSE IT HELPS PEOPLE AND IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD KNOWING I MADE A DIFFERENCE IN SOMEONES LIFE BY ASSISTING THEM WHEN THEY NEEDED IT MOST . I LIKE BEING A CAREGIVER BECAUSE IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I'VE HELPED SOMEONE WHEN THERE LOVED ONES CAN'T I CAN BE THERE FOR THEM AND I TREAT THEM JUST LIKE FAMILY .I'M EASY GOING ,PATIENT WITH THEM , AND HAVE 20 YEARS EXP. IN THIS LINE OF WORK.MY ACHIEVEMENTS WELL BEING ABLE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN SOMEONES LIFE WHEN THEY NEED IT AND HELPING FAMILY MEMBERS THROUGH THE TOUGH TIMES WHEN THEY CAN'T DO IT IS ALL I CAN SAY I'VE DONE. I STARTED WORKING IN THE NURSING HOMES THEN I MOVED ON TO HOME HEALTH AND SOME COMMUNITY CARE WORK FOR THE ELDERLY ALSO I'VE WORKED WITH YOUNGER DISABLED PEOPLE TOO. I'VE HAD CLIENTS IN HOME HEALTH GET DISCHARGED FROM THE COMPANY AND STILL THEY FELT MORE SAFE IF I WAS THERE TO ASSIST WITH THERE BATH SO THEY WOULD PAY ME TO KEEP COMING AS LONG AS I COULD . I'M DIVORCED AND HAVE 4 KIDS ALL GROWN EXCEPT MY BABY SHE'S 14 AND I HAVE A 5 YR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER. I'M 42 YRS OLD AND PEOPLE USUALLY THINK I'M YOUNGER WHICH IS FINE WITH ME BUT I'M JUST YOUNG AT HEART I GUESS .MY KIDS SAY I DON'T ACT MY AGE SOMETIMES BUT THATS WHAT KEEPS ME GOING I'VE ALWAYS HEARD YOUR ONLY AS OLD AS U FEEL AND I DON'T FEEL OLD YET BUT SOON ENOUGH I WILL BE. Getting to know them having a new friend giving them help they need giving them the care they deserve

I have worked for Home Health and Hospice for many years (20) I have had a lot of training on patient care and transfers. The agency did a lot of continuing education with us. I have worked in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee. And North Carolina. Now I just want to have job 3 or 4 days a week or even a few hours a day.
