My passion for working with the elderly started when I was in middle school, volunteering at my local nursing home. I received a letter of commendation from former Senator Alice Clausing for my volunteer work. After high school I obtained my CNA license. I'm a very confident and experienced caregiver. I have been a nurse for 23 yrs. besides being a wife and mother of three. I am a natural caregiver and feel this is my call in life. I took care of my mother in her last years and worked with geriatrics in an assisted living and acute hospital setting. I have recently moved to WA state and look forward to working here.

I'm great listener, patient,punctual, caring, reliable, upbeat, positive etc. I love working with people and I get a joy of helping people with whatever challenge they have. There are countless ones but my pride and joy is when through my ability of empathy and caring I was able to give a different perspective to a depressed person from feeling suicidal and secluded to an outgoing and goal oriented person. Now that person works and lives in her own apartment.

I have acquired many skills and tools that have allowed me to care for others with dignity and grace. Despite their dementia, schizophrenia, autism, Asperger's, or mental illness. The Individuals I care for celebrate this person-centered care. I see and respect them as the most important person in my Now. A personal achievement I am proud of is my Patience, Love and Understanding. My ability to adapt quickly. I moved to Florida three summers ago from Minnesota. I have yet to get used to the Florida summers. However, I do enjoy and embrace the Flora, Foliage and Fauna. I see something new everyday. My new favorite Florida bird is the Painted Bunting.
