My name is Megan Lenau I'm 18 years of age and I reside out of Washington Missouri. I love working with people of all ages I love being able to put a smile on people faces and giving those who may not smile much a reason for smiling and a reason to keep pushing forward in life . I have been working in the medical field since I was 18 years of age. My great grandmother who passed from dementia is how I became a health care giver. My passion is to help comfort, love and support those who are in need.

Over the past 20 years, I have worked with high behavioral clients with disabilities of all ages. I take my job very serious and I provide nothing but excellent customer services, I provide the services that is needed for each client, I am a very hard worker, I come to work to work, I listen well , I have CPR, First Aid and Med Level 1 training certification and mandt training.

I an a single mother of 2 girls and 3 furr babies. I began Healthcare at age 18 because my grandmother fell ill and needed 24 hour care. It ended up being a huge blessing because I found My true calling in life. I went to college for something completely different but I just wasn't passionate about that industry like I am about providing quality care. So I went back to the Healthcare industry where I'm the happiest.

I have been a care giver all my life beginning with taking care of my dad when he was at the end stage of life. I dedicated myself to his wellbeing and provided hospice type care for three years. That is where my passion began for caring for the elderly and those who cannot care for themselves. I then began working at a nursing home and gained my CNA, which provided me with greater knowledge of home care for indivuals. I truly care for the person I assist and go the extra mile to make sure they are cared for in a loving and safe manner. I have a unique gift to get along and am able to communicate with many different types of indivuals.

I have been a caregiver since I was 18. I have devoted my life to caring for people who can not care for themselves. I had no idea when I started my first job as a caregiver that this is what I would fall in love with it, but life is life. The thing I love the most about caring for others is when I am able to see the impact I made on someone else's life, whether it be my client or their family.

To me, nursing is about passion and selflessness. This is not just a job to me. It is about caring for others and putting your patient's needs first. Being there for them to give them peace of mind. Knowing that they have a nurse who is competent, compassionate, and professional goes a long way to give my patients that peace of mind and a feeling of comfort.

This what I do mostly for living and partially for fun. I have been doing this for over 10 yrs now and still doing it. I am a CNA and Level I med certified both by department of mental health and department of senior services.

I am a dedicated individual whom understands what the words dependable, hardworking and detailed oriented means. I am very self motivated and self determined. I've always been good at taking care of others. I have a way of understanding what others are going through by listening and putting myself in there position. I can understand most my patients and sick and uncomfortable and that my job is to make them as less frustrated with themselves about not being able to do things and to help them be more comfortable with themselves and their environment. I also know I must encourage independence and help when I am needed. I am certified to administer insulin to patients and all forms Medications. I am CPR and Basic first aid certified as well as CNA certified. I am insulin and CMT Certified as well. A personal Achievement of mine would be becoming the great caretaker I am today. Another little thing about myself is that I like to play musical instruments with my free time.
