A personal achievement that I'm proud of is getting my mom to walk again after being bed ridden for 4 years due to neuropathy. I started by building her confidence and and replacing her negative mindset and fears with positivity and hope. She was so happy when she finally walked on her own again. Now she is up and moving like never before. And the happiest I've ever seen her.

I became a caregiver b/c I love working with elderly people, I like what I do b/c it's rewarding &to know u make someone's day by doing simple things for them that we take for granted that we still can do. I'm very proud that I have received several awards for my compassion that I give my clients&family. I'm a mother of a17 yr old & I enjoy reading.

I believe I was born to be a caregiver. I've been a caregiver since I was considerably young with my own mother and have had plenty experience through previous patients. I realized it gives me a sense of purpose in this world, & not only do I love it, but I'm great at it. Of course people need help with physical issues that occur during the process of aging, but I also believe everyone in their heart needs to feel & know they are not alone & that they are cared for and loved. I want to provide the same love to them as their own family would provide if they were able to make it there themselves.
