I have always had the desire to help individuals to live a more rewarding life. It is a wonderful feeling to take away someones pain/ worries/ problems. I have cared for and raised five children and worked caring for people in multiple settings for over 25 years. I am on my own again and have relocated to my hometown of Somerset to start fresh. I am anxious to reconnect with the area and love caring for individuals on a one on one basis. Having been an RN for many years, I would very much love to care for people in their homes and treat them as family. I would like to be the extra pair of arms we all need from time to time. Going to Doctor's visits, trips to the grocery store, light housekeeping, general household pickup, walks in the park, general companionship, etc. I love to sew and read. I enjoy taking care of people. I think that any one that you care for should be treated like family, and making them smile. I am proud of myself for raising a wonderful son on my own, the experience was wonderful and would not change any thing. I am a very caring person, I took care of my father, and now I am caring for my mother. We only have one set of parents and they deserve there childrens respect and love. I am happy to be in this position and again would not change a thing. I had the experience of doing 24 hour care and have been hooked ever since. I am a very caring, responsible,dependable, honest and trusting person and have always had a good rating on being on time for work, stayed to work over time and best showing up for my shift every day. I like caring for people it makes me feel that what ever I do for them gives me a great feeling inside to be helpful. If you can help keep your patient happy and at ease when you are with them is a great feeling also, taking care of people that are not feeling well or that are sick takes a special type of person. Not every one is cut out for it.

My parents passed when I was young and l cared for both of them in my home. I'm very compassionate and understanding and utilize my skills so your loved ones get the best quality care. I have my certifications for the state of Florida I also have my CPR And First AID Training. I also have my own Health insurance car insurance and license. I will have my background check soon I'm new to this site and l have to wait on my birth certificate that l misplaced, so l can get my background check, l do have references l also have my clearances and fingerprints from up north so I'm waiting to update those as well. I have been a nurse for 19 years. I have experience in geriatrics , pediatrics, home health, skilled units, long term care and hospice/ palliative care.

After caring for my ill parents, I entered LPN training to become a nurse. Allowing people to remain at home, rather than be in a nursing home was a goal of mine as well for my parents. I like working with individuals and small groups, so that I may give them the care that they need and deserve. I have been a nurse for 14 years. Taking care of 15-49 clients is not unusual and not practical to see to the needs of the clients or patients. I am seeking a position that I can optimize the care of individuals I care for.

I dont walk into the clients home an act like its mine. Respect, an understanding when in their home. I love taking care of people that can't take care of themselves any more.
