I STARTED CARE GIVING AT 16 FOR MY GRANDFATHER WHO WAS PARALYZED ON ONE SIDE. I DIDN'T WANT HIM TO HAVE TO GO TO A NURSING HOME. IT WAS THE SAME FOR MY FATHER AND MOTHER. I AM ALSO THE WIFE OF AN UPPER BILATERAL AMPUTEE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND DISABILITIES IN WAYS OTHERS MIGHT NOT.
