My name is Stacy. I have about 20 years of health care experience as a CNA, home health aide, patient care assistant, resident assistant, and my last adventure was as an RN with a hospice organization in Florida. My passion is caring for others. Even as a young girl, I was very attentive toward others needs. I have always put my heart in my work and cared for my patients and clientele, as if they were family. I am very considerate and respectful of others things, personal spaces, likes and dislikes. I easily adapt to personal preferences, as I understand that we all have them. I have been a caretaker all my life. I have 3 grown children. I took care of my uncle that was a veteran for 3 years before he passed. He had dementia. I have been a home heath care worker for 2 years. I love to sit and talk with my clients and find out things about them. I enjoy getting them out of the house if possible for ice cream. I enjoy my work. They are not my clients they become family. I am also had covid vaccinations and boosters. I will wear mask it's client preference.

Caregiving is the act of providing help and comfort to another person. It can involve many different activities, such as grocery shopping; help with dressing, eating, toileting; or providing emotional support to another person while they navigate a physical, emotional, or health challenge.

I am a very easy going person with a huge heart. I thoroughly enjoy working with people who need help, whether temporary or permanent. I have been told I am very good with dementia patient's, but I enjoy all sorts of people I became attracted to becoming a Caregiver when I was 10 yrs old because my mother and I lived with my uncle and took care of him during the last 5 yrs of his life. I enjoy caring for people because I know I am doing the best I can to make their quality of life better. I am very proud of taking care of multiple family members. I am also proud that I obtained my CNA license. I did let it expire, but I'm in the process of obtaining it again.

I enjoy being a caregiver because I enjoy helping people and helping them to try to achieve their goals. I have patience,a loving and caring heart but also sometimes you got to have the will to try to motivate a patient to do more than they think they are able to do. I enjoy most about being a caregiver is I can just be myself and care for my patient. My personal achievement I am most proud of is raising my daughter after a terrible divorce and working two jobs while in nursing school and graduating before my mother passed with cancer.Praise God
