My name is Kris. I am a mother of four children. I have been doing caregiving in a variety of settings for over 17 years. I have worked in assisted living, hospital, hospice and nursing home. I did private in home care for my grandmother also before she passed. Taking care of her was actually the first experience I had with caregiving. I really enjoy the one on one time with people and getting to know them. I also love knowing that I have helped someone in some way on any given day. Even if it is nothing more than running to the store for them. I love to see the smiles on peoples faces when they are happy and content or have someone else to talk to. The personal achievement that I am proud of is that I have instilled in my children that at some point in everybodies life they need some help. I am a certified nursing assistant, medical assistant, and I have worked as a phlebotomist, and have had first responder training. I have been in the healthcare field off and on for the past 20 years, and have taken care of many friends and family membrs, worked with demetia, down syndrome, children and elderly. I am always willing to learn more, and work as hard as I need to in order to achieve a goal.
