Being honest, caring, punctual and following instructions makes me a great caregiver. It's making a client feel comfortable about being themselves and caring about their needs that's very meaningful to me as I'm learning as I go along that not all clients are the same. My personal achievement is being able to make him/her laugh again and love life no matter what their circumstances. I have been doing caregiving for 15years.

I became a care giver because I have a passion for helping people with special needs. Through my past experiences, I have acquired skills and abilities highly relevant to the Caregiver position: • Track record of providing assistance to elderly in activities of daily living • Well versed in motivating clients to enjoy their independence • Committed to perform housekeeping tasks; washing clothes and dishes, scrubbing bathroom and making beds • Focused on tidy living environment for clients through living area sanitation, ventilation, proper lighting and furnishings arrangement • Adept at implementing care plans provided by the care manager and client’s family My caregiving skills coupled with my enthusiasm to help others make me a unique candidate for this exciting opportunity.
My name is Kathrina, but friends and family call me Lina. I'm 24 years old but I I have a lot of experience with caregiving. My personality traits that I believe make me an excellent caregiver are; I'm empathetic and compassionate, which I believe helps me to connect with my patients more which therefore makes the patient more comfortable with having help from someone who essentially starts off as a stranger. I also consider myself to be very positive and enthusiastic which is good in any environment. What initially attracted me to caregiving was seeing my mom do it as her profession. The joy she gets from being able to help those in need and to build real bonds with the patient and their families is something you can't get in many other professions these days. What I enjoy most about caregiving is ending everyday knowing that I helped someone in need. The personal achievement I am most proud of is the annual food and clothing giveaway I started this year with my siblings aimed to help the underserved in our communities.

I am a very compassionate and patient caregiver with 17 years of experience helping to care for individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. I began providing care when a close friend of mine needed help caring for her sick mother. I worked with this sweet lady for seven and a half years in which I refined my caregiving skills. The bond that I build with all of my clients is unmistakably genuine and sweet. Over my career I have cared for 15 different people and each one of them and the experiences that we have shared has helped to enrich my ability to care for the next one. I am also a proud mother of two wonderful children and that in itself speaks volume about my ability to care for others. I truly care for my clients as if they were a part of my own family.
I am a hardworking caregiver. I have a strong work ethic, pleasant & physically strong & extremely experienced in my role as caregiver. I have a full knowledge of the needs of patients in all stages of illness. I treated my patients with ki ndness, respect & dignity as my own family. I become a caregiver because I have an experienced in the marines as a paramedic. I am happy to serve/help elderly people as my own parents. My personal achievement I am proud of when my one patient/client doctors told that she will only live for one month but with my care she lives up to six months to be with her family.
Being a caregiver for 17 + years is such an honor and has helped me in so many ways. It's all about putting away my needs to assist others. I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with and knowing what I did brought them joy and happiness is priceless. I am very patience, compassions, attentiveness, dependability and trustworthiness. The moments when you reflect back and see how you have helped someone is what CAREGIVING is all about!!
I am a very nurturing and kind person. I am very sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of those around me, very empathetic, gentle, good sense of humor. Treating people with respect is very important to me and I know it is to you as well. Most recently, for over a year, I worked with 2 female clients. One client is 98 with visual and hearing impairments, diabetes and mild dimentia. I was responsible for taking daily glucose readings, keeping records of her medical data/appointments/medication dispensing. I cooked her a hearty breakfast and we ate together. I introduced her to a game called "WordCross" and she loved to play every day with me. It was great for her mind and was a good social experience as well. Another client had early stage Alzheimers, but was highly functional. I provided companionship, meal preparation for her and her husband, fixed her hair, walked outside with her, did their grocery shopping, and occasionally we enjoyed shopping/lunch trips together. I have additional experience working with clients that have terminal cancer. I not only met their specific physical needs, but created an environment for them which brought them comfort and peace during the most difficult time of their lives. What made me most aware of the needs of seniors was when my own grandmother was near the end of her life. I helped her daily with dressing, grooming, feeding, and eventually accompanied her through her last days in hospice. I understand how important it is for families to feel confident that their loved one is being treated with gentleness and respect. I want to help seniors to have the best quality of life possible. I look forward to visiting with you to see how I could help meet the needs of your loved one, Amy
My compassion, empathy , patience, and dependability helps with being a great caregiver. After learning to provide care for my sibling with Autism and Cerebral Palsy I've been attracted to being able to be a caregiver. The most rewarding part of being a caregiver is providing compassionate care for each client. My proudest achievement is learning new knowledge from each clients circumstances.
1)I love providing home care services to those otherwise not be able to do so. I always enjoyed helping people so I know I Am doing the right thing. 2)meeting new clients and providing caregiving that they can no longer do for themselves. 3) I always give my 100% and do the best job I can with no expectation. If You add a smile to a clients day that means a lot to me. 4) I am a flexible , dependable , a team player and willing to learn more.
I enjoy helping and working with Seniors in their homes vs. a living Facility. : ) I enjoy helping them be able to live their quality of life in their own homes. When elderly people talk, I'm an attentive listener, I was told by a client once, if you listen closely you just may learn something you can use throughout your life. I have experience working with clients that have: alzheimers, dementia, diabetes, parkinson's, recovering from falls, strokes. I'm caring, compassionate, dependable, empathetic, honest, open minded, patient and trustworthy, I'm a woman of my word.
I am a good listener, I also like to engage in conversation, I am very punctual. I like to hear peoples stories and look at family photos (past, present and future). I am patient and have a kind and loving heart. I like to advocate on behalf of my client when I see a need too; allowing space and time to build a healthy relationship and a bond of trustworthiness.. What attracted me to this work are those family members and loved one's whom I love dearly, faced with their own mental, emotional, physical and psychological challenges. Being able to lend my support to them in one way or another I found to be very fulfilling. I have always found a pleasant sense of joy in the ability of giving back to others who are in need of my services.. There are many hurdles one must strive to overcome in this game of life no one is exempt. I can honestly say that I have learned many lessons, and in the process received just as many blessings. From a place of love and kindness I can give to others.. That's what care giving is suppose to do, give love to life...
