After that I noticed I enjoyed caring for the elderly and spending time with them. I love listening to their stories and learning from their experiences. I see them and treat them as my family. I like to help them get the best quality of life under their circumstances. I feel a sense of accomplishment every time it's time for me to leave their house and they have a smile on their faces. Hi, I'm Shawna, \"What makes me a great caregiver?\" I've raised six amazing children as a single mother and after 20 years of helping people feel good about themselves in the beauty industry, I took on the role of my 92 year old grandmother's caregiver. I cared for her for two years and I feel I've found my calling. I am, by nature, a very nurturing person so I'm in my element as a caregiver. I have excellent work ethics, I'm organized and very easy to get along with. I have a great respect for the elderly because they have paved the way for me and my children. I only pray that when my time comes, my children will take as good a care of me.

I enjoy working with the Elderly, they are family to me! I will make sure I give them the best care all the time. To me it's not a "Job" it's more than that. I am not a CNA, I am a Medical Assistant. I have worked as a Caregiver in the past at a nursing hone and with other Caregivers Companies. My available schedule for now is 9am to 430pm. Monday through Friday. In the afternoon 7pm through 7am. May be available some weekends.
