I love being a caregiver first of all because I like helping others, it gives me a sense of satisfaction and achievement. I take initiative, I am responsible, compassionate and a quick learner. I am very enthusiastic when I am doing my work because it is what I love doing, and what I do best. I am known to provide quality care. I would have loved to take care of my mother when she was sick but unfortunately, I could not leave my job and I did not see her when she passed away. I believe that is one of the reasons why I am so compassionate and patient with the elderly because I see them as my mother. I also took care of my mother in law before she passed away. I have very good recommendations that I can provide from all the patients' families I have been blessed to take care of.
Im very passionate and love taking care of elderly/client why because most of us when we get older or once we reach certain age we are looking for someone that we can rely and we can trust and be dependent on that person. Thats why i enjoy working as a care giver for me its not really work its like taking care of my family..as a care giver i love to see clients achieve their goals even as simple as like they have their first therapy or simple exercise or even they have their first bite of food from recovering in certain injuries or operation it makes me happy seeing them happy!my achievement as a care giver i tookcare of my last client for 14 years, shes a family and a mother to me and im very proud that im the person who takes care of her...
I love what I do! I love making a difference in someone's life - if I can make them laugh or smile then I've done my job! If I can get my clients out of the house for shopping, appointments or even lunch then I'm helping them help me! I love making new friends & having everlasting friendships with my clients and their families! For the past 3 years I've been a caregiver for my neighbor's dad (he's 97), I was his morning caregiver (he had round the clock caregiving), I fed him breakfast and lunch, took him to church / bingo every Monday, we did his errands during the week and Fridays we did the library. I really love my job as a caregiver!
Besides experience and knowledge I acquired from nursing school, helping others has always been my passion. I find joy and fulfillment knowing I make a difference in someone else's life. I am patient and willing to adjust to the needs of my clients. I try to put myself in their shoes, to try and understand them. I treat my patients with love and respect, and with dignity, just like how I would want to be treated if I was in their same situation. Since I was a young age, I have always been interested in helping other people. I enjoy helping others who have trouble helping themselves especially the elderly. I completed my vocational nursing studies in 2012 and it was at that point I realised that helping people is my calling. I love that being a caregiver, you can make a difference. It's a rewarding experience providing care and assistance to those who are no longer able to do so and to know that I have done my job right when I see smiles on their faces. The moments that make me most proud of as a care giver is when I see my patients doing well, seeing their happy faces.
I love serving our senior community. It's my joy to assist them in any daily activities they'd like to pursue or have done for them. My former clients have enjoyed my cooking, housekeeping, laundry, baking, fun conversation and careful attention to detail. I've redefined the word JOB for myself with this motto I live by, "Do what you love and love what you do." My former clients and their families are my best references and will be glad to tell you themselves of my labors of love, loyalty, hard work, reliability and honesty. I have a comfortable and clean vehicle to transport to Dr appointments or grocery shopping or going for a drive, etc. I look forward to meeting you, assisting you and serving you! 😃
