I have worked in health care as a Medical Assistant so I have solid understanding of different conditions and working with doctors regarding health needs of patients. I am both a indoors and outside person. What attracts me to this career is the companionship that can be made when helping another. I find it helpful and healthy to communicate with people. During that time being a caregiver i had the responsibilities of transportation, cleaning, and giving my clients their medication. I had worked with several clients with different disabilities. I would stay the night and day for 4 days at house that my clients were at to care for them. One of the major achievements I've made is losing weight. To this day i have become more active and motivated to start a new journey to become a sports physical therapist. One of my goals are to compete in bodybuilding as well. I will complete goal along with my future career.

I got into caregiving as a fluke and instantly fell in love with it and the people that I have been able to help and care for. I've always had interest in the medical field and I learned that caregiving is fairly similar to it, I saw that through caregiving I create a personal connection and that's why I chose caregiving. I enjoy the little moments about caregiving, when a person served says something unexpected and it creates a happy memory/moment for us both. A personal achievement I am proud of is taking first place in bodybuilding competitions, it's the prep that I am most proud of, not quitting when it's hard or when I'm tired.
