I am very kind and compassionate person. Actually got into this business because of a simple conversation with a potential employer regarding my own family experience's with providing care to ALS patient (mother-in-law) as well as my own father with dimentia/Alzheimer's disease. Spent many years caring for both parents while raising my own family. Have since been employed as a caregiver for many years now.
I believe that the elderly should be treated with respect, care and offered caring assistance. My goal is to assist seniors so that they could maintain an independent lifestyle. At the same time, loved ones and family members could feel comfortable knowing that a caring person is there to help. In the past, I have worked with seniors and children with disabilities. I'll be happy to provide assistance in daily living which can include light housekeeping: sweeping, dusting, changing linen, washing dishes etc. meal preparations, assistance in eating, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and often snacks as well. Running errands grocery shopping, pharmacy ect. taking client to medical appointments, keeping up on my clients' hygiene, lite physical/ massage therapy or exercise routine as needed, weekly laundry. I'm very compassionate, loving, kind-hearted, intelligent, fast learner, good listener, patient, understanding, honest & humble, as well as trustworthy. Companionship is of high importance as well. My hours of availability are open at this time; if weekends or other hours are required it can possibly be worked out. For new clients, payscale can be negotiable I take in consideration needs, driving time etc.
I have worked as a CNA for over 9 years and as an HHA for over 5 years. I enjoy what I do. My goal is to become a nurse and being a CNA and a Caregiver is a good first step. Whenever I work with my clients, my aim is to find creative ways to encourage them to do something more than they have done before. Though working with various clients has its ups and downs, it is especially exciting for me to see someone get better while in my care. Even a little progress is better than no progress at all.

I became a caregiver when my father became ill . I took on the responsibility to care for him and make him comfortable in his final days . I want to continue on being a caregiver because of my undying love for my own mother who died of stroke couple of years after my father passed . My compassionate nature and high level of commitment to my work combined with my hands on experience in personal care makes me a perfect candidate for a great caregiver . Every time I work with the patient it always gives me the feeling of satisfaction and determination to help them live their lives to the fullest with dignity , happy , safe and well nourished . ... making sure that their needs are met from the smallest task to a task that is challenging for them to do . I am trustworthy and responsible person who take great pleasure in all kinds of caregiving tasks.
