I feel satisfied knowing I can help others when they need me. I enjoy walks, reading, animals, working on word puzzles, and great conversations. I look forward to meeting you.

I took interest in Caregiving 27 years ago when I needed to earn extra money on top of my regular place of employment. Since then I've worked both for an agency and also do private caregiving. Caregiving is now my full time job. I enjoy and find it very rewarding to help someone in need and hope that someday if needed I'll have someone with my abilities and personality to care for me. I find it very rewarding to be there for someone in need and to also meet new people. I once was told that you cannot make caregiving personal and I absolutely disagree with that. The client becomes your friend whom relies on you for so much. My personal achievement that I'm most proud of is becoming the hard working caring mom and grandma that I am. I love making people happy

I have experience working in assisting living environments. I also been working in in- home care settings. I worked +2 years in working with disabled adults. Skilled in assisting patients with daily activities. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was when I would see my mom caring for her dad and she would have a hard time and she didn't know how to find help and I would try helping her even if it was helping to set up clothes for the day or helpings in making a meal. So now that I'm getting older I want to be prepared to one day be able to personally care for my parents. I'm looking to leverage my passion & commitment to clients well- being to improve their quality of life. I always care for a client the same way I would care for a family member I have compassion, empathy and understanding that they still want to be independent and assist when needed. Helping others and bringing joy to their lives is a accomplishment anyone can feel proud of.

I feel like I am a good caregiver because when my dad turned 80 he needed extra help because he started forgetting some stuff. Started to get Alzheimer's. So I began helping him with medication, cooking, cleaning, laundry, errands, doctor appointments, bill paying etc. Sometimes I would find myself at his home 4-5 times a day answering questions over and over again or just to keep him company. He had some amazing stories of his life so I overstayed my visits. It was great! He passed away at 90. Then my sister started having medical problems when she turned 65. I did the same for her and would spend a lot of time with her as well. I cleaned her home, did her laundry and took her to doctor appointments. I kept her company at the hospital as often as I could. We spent a lot of time on the phone. It helped so she wasn't so bored. I enjoyed the time I spent with both of them. It made me feel useful. So after all the help I gave to both of them, I started to look into Caregiving. It's a great career. To help others is great!

I have been doing in home care, facility care. For about 15 yrs. I can connect well with others. Compassionate about my clients needs and wants. Building trust and friendship is important to me. Helping my clients live a happy and meaningful life. Whatever that may be for every individual. I enjoy being a caregiver, because I like helping others. Making someone's day better. I'm Qmap certified, as well as CPRand first aid certified.

Calm, level-headed, and compassionate caregiver with experience in a variety of settings and ages for 6-8 years. My science degree in psychology allows me to understand the mental and behavioral hurdles of others to provide the highest quality of care to my patients! I enjoy learning about other people's journeys hardships included so that I can provide support.
