Hello my name is Latoya and I have been a caregiver for 7 years. I love taking care of people especially if they can no longer do it themselves. Helping and encouraging them to be mobile if possible while listening and engaging conversation on topics that are most important to them. I have knowledge of and experience with Senior care in different environments such as one-on-one home health/companionship, retirement homes, and assisted living facilities. I am trained in a broad range of dynamics pertaining to but not limited to special needs. Intense hands-on training and focus in providing care for m.h.m.r/disabled/dementia/Alzheimer’s, and disease debilitating patients. I am trained C.N.A and I know how to use proper technique for transfer/ambulation to those that are physically challenged, and have mobility/barriers. Further knowledge includes use of basic lifting, Hoyer lift, and gate belts for those who are prone to falls. I do believe in charting the progress of my patients so that their family, physician's and loved one's can keep up with their every day care and any changes that may occur. I am professional and honor confidentiality. I have a current driver's license and automobile insurance. I am a non-smoker and prefer to work in a non-smoking environment, and I am comfortable working in a home who has pets as long as they do not bite. I have training in incontinence care and able to change adult briefs.
I decided to become a caregiver, mainly, because I had worked in so many jobs and careers where I had been laid off or the company went out of business. I had a friend that was in the industry and informed me that in the healthcare business you will practically always have a job. Honestly, I sincerely wish that I would have gotten into the industry right out of high school some twenty five years ago. Little did I know that I would come to absolutely love the job and the position. The thing I like most is meet the variance of people and building the relationships with someone I otherwise would never have had the opportunity of meeting. As a caregiver you have to understand that in this business many of the people we come in contact with eventually move on to the next life, but I cherish those moments and like to believe that I had a small hand in making the process and transition a bit more comfortable not only for the person but for the family as well. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is probably just the fact that I have been able to just go to work with a smile on my face and it not feel like a job or a task. I can go to sleep and feel that I did something productive with my time and made somewhat of a difference in some ones life each and every day; whether it was assisting them, just acknowledging the in some way, or just bringing a smile to their face. I love the industry so much and really do not like the bad taste you hear when the words "nursing h
My name is Cecile Mpawenimana but I go by Cece I'm a nice caring person, full of understanding. I'm an outstanding person when it comes to helping people. I have a lot of patience. What attracted be to be a caregiver would honestly have to be the special needs kids we had at school. Every time I saw them they had a smile on their face it was just so heartwarming. I remember when are student government class gave them their own Valentine's dance if you saw how much fun they had you would be smiling it was the best day of high school. What I enjoy most about this job is that not only do you get to experience new ways of handling situations you also get to learn the despite of are differences and circumstances we all have stories to tell, but all we want is someone to show that they care enough to hear them. My GREATEST achievement would have to be moving out my moms house I love my mom and will forever love her but it was toxic to the point where I felt invisible in my own house and living just relieved me from all the bad things that was happening and now I'm more at peace with myself. Life always gets taugh, but it's up to us to make something out of that taught situation

I would be a great caregiver because that's what I am. That is my title first before my own name it feels. Mom and wife, then Marissa. I have had jobs in between to help support the family but that title has always pulled me back to be honest. It was hard to work with peace of mind so I really understand the need for a good caregiver who has so much compassion and empathy. That is why you can trust me because I understand the struggle. To conclude and clarify (lol), my kids have grown and my husband works long hours. I have gained so much knowledge in between, please allow me to gain the experience.
Hi my names Ashley, I'd like to tell you why I became the person I am today. It is because I had a loving mother who always showed me how to care for others, no matter the situation. She showed me how to help those who needed help and not just by doing it for them, but encouraging them to help themselves. Yes I do help when it's to much, and am a mother, so when my person I'm helping is having a hard time I step in and guide them and help them. I do for them what someone once did for me, but in reverse. As we know, in most cases, things are not getting better. So I help first a little and then gradually step in when it's to hard. I am a CNA and am working on going to college for my RN.

I am a nursing student. I am a certified Nursing Assistant. I am Certified in Basic Life Support or CPR. I have found a passion in working with geriatric patients. It takes a lot of patience and caring. I enjoy the feeling I get of knowing I'm caring for someones mother or father, the way I would want if roles were reversed.
I'am able to provide quality care and balance it with compassion, patience, and even a sense of humor. I Have Enthusiasm for the Work i do. I know just what's needed to give our seniors a place of warmth and hope. It's the little touches that make a big difference. Sometimes it takes a strong person to get the job done, and Caring Champions will do whatever is necessary to protect and provide for elders in need. I'll do what I have to do and won't back down until my Clients receive proper attentions.
I love helping people. I currently work with Alzheimer and Dementia. I help them with their medicine and basic care for their daily living. The reason that I choose to do this is because it makes me sad that these people can't control what is happening to them so I feel like I should make them feel better by just being present. I enjoy seeing the people smile when you can do just one thing for them. My personal achievement is that I have found my calling in life.
1.while taking care of my mother in the last year's of her life, I knew that it was something that I was meant to do. 2.I get satisfaction in seeing the smiles on the clients faces and the comfort and peace of mind that I provide for the family knowing that their loved one is in good hands. 3. The thing that I am most proud of is my quality of work and my reliability and dedication to this field of work. 4.I am an honest man who has a wife and two daughters. I believe in an honest days work for an honest days pay.
