I'm a very loving and caring person I have a passion for what I do. I love caring for others it give me such peace and joy to know I can make someone feel good about their self and to encourage others to continue to love and embrace life no matter what the circumstances . And I'm always proud to say I'm a caregiver. I took care of a lady who didn't like to talk or socialize. And it took me 3 days to get her to start eating breakfast with me in the morning so We could have conversations together And it was a blessing because she got the chance to talk about her husband who had pass away. And all she did was smile. I also got her into doing other things around the house , Like taking her walks while singing which made me very happy. RESPECT,LOVE, DEDICATION,

I'm a great caregiver because I really care about the elderly. I am emphatic and compassionate. I took care of my mom who suffered with Alzheimer's and I try to imagine I'm giving the client the same care as if she was my very own mother. I am an ordained minister who is expected to walk in love. I get pleasure out of knowing that the client has been given the best care possible and if I was put under a microscope there wouldn't be anything to complain about. I try to follow the golden rule 'do unto others as you would have then do unto you.' I answer to a higher calling and I know I will be held responsible if I don't give the client the best care. To hear the doctor tell the relative that the client is very well taken care of is to me a personal achievement.
I love Being a care giver because I can help someone in need and help out families in need of my assistance to care for their loved one. I started doing this because my nana had dementia and my family needed the help with her so I stepped up. I have also worked with a Parkinson's client and a stroke client. I love being someone they can count on, feel safe with.
I have been a Registered Nurse for 38 plus years. I have worked on medical, surgical ( with pediatric) units as well as labor & delivery, nursery & care of mom's recovering from deliveries. I have personal experience caring for immediate family members as well as patients with mental illnesses, diabetes, stroke, heart attack, kidney failure , dialysis & dementia. I worked at a local hospital for 18 years, then at a physician's office doing phone triage. I then became a school nurse for 11 years caring for grades 3, 4 & 5. I knew I wanted to be a nurse since I was 3 years old & never wavered. I began working at 16 years old as a nurses aid. I am a compassionate caregiver who gives her heart & soul to whom ever I am caring for. My job performances have always been average to above average. My job as an RN did not stop when I got home. I cared for my brother for 35 years till he passed from a multitude of illnesses, many of which are mentioned above. I cared for my Mom when she became ill with dementia. I want very much to continue helping & caring for others but in a different capacity as a companion. Less paperwork & more time with your loved one no matter their age. My focus is always on the individual I am with & my care is individualized according to whom I am caring for. I have never had any compliments during my tenure. I treat my patients the same way I would hope my parents, children and siblings would be. I have passed my criminal record check. I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you for considering me as a candidate to care for your loved one.

I am hard working, patient and compassionate. I am able to handle any situation that comes my way, while keeping my composure. I was attracted to this field of work because I believe in making the best possible use of what you have. Being patient and "passive" is not always viewed as a positive thing, but if I can leverage my personality traits to build professional relationships that are mutually beneficial, I believe that is a truly rewarding experience. I am a natural problem solver and that's what makes this job enjoyable for me. I like the fact that every day is different and brings new challenges that translate into learning experiences. I aim to learn as much as possible, at all times, regardless of circumstance. I am proud of the fact that I am able to remain positive and take something away from each experience I have in life.
For 20 + years, being friendly and out-going, but very hard working , and diligent, has helped me to succeed as a personal care aide. I am able to show kindness, and empathy towards my clients, while maintaining a a professional work ethic. I became a caregiver because I was always interested in the nursing field helping others. I find it both challenging and rewarding. I am most proud of the consistant care I gave my last client, Marianne. Her faith, hope and courage, in spite of a debilitating illness, was an inspiration to me.
I'm caring and compassionate. Well organized and a self starter. I have a strong respect for the elderly, and became interested in working with them when I was a chef/assistant manager of the dining facility at an independent living center. Since then, I've worked in several different types of living facilities, and then became an activities director to be more hands on. I started my own in home care business in Texas. I'm new to Connecticut. I have extensive experience in different dietary needs, as well as physical and mental needs. I do require my clients be at least partially mobile, and able to assist in their maneuvering. An exception would be if I am not required to help an immobile client move.
I am a people's person, love been around people, love to help when needed and I gave a very great personality. What attracted me most is the wisdom it comes with, getting to know the person and the qualities they possess as an individual. Knowing am helping someone wholeheartedly and giving it my all.
