Hello, My name is Roxana and I enjoy working with people who can be helped with in home care that will support them in continuing to live independently. I have a long history of working with people who benefit from supported care from children with disabilities in a pre-school setting as an art teacher to Adults in the mental health field as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist and now for Senior Adults. My talent is creating long lasting professional relationships so that my clients can trust me to always keep their best care and interests at the forefront of the services I provide. Raising three beautiful daughters into fantastic loving Adults is the pride of my life! I would love to meet with you to discuss how you or your loved one can benefit from the services I provide.
I became a caregiver because I have elderly family members and friends who need care. They sometimes can't do things themselves and I help them when I'm close to them. Also when I was growing up I've always been wanting to be a nurse doesn't matter what kind of nurse, but all I love to do is help people. I think what helps me be a more helpful caregiver is that I always try different things or methods to help the person understands what to do.
I'm a very caring and patient person. I've assisted my elderly grandparents since 9 years old. Although not knowing it was an actual job, I did it because it was for them. I treat my clients as if they were part of my own family. I started babysitting at 10 from newborn to 10 years old. I enjoy helping others in whatever I'm able to.
What makes me a great caregiver I'm always in a good mood and I have infinite respect for my clients. I always try to make sure my clients are doing well and are happy. I will do my best to leave my client in better condition by the time my shift is up. I love listening to music, playing games, watching movies, and I also enjoy the little things in life. Since I live in a beautiful area, I do my best to take my clients out to the beach or on trails, pretty much anywhere that has a beautiful scene. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was caring for my mother when she had surgery. I cared for her for about 4 months then decided to pursue a medical career. My biggest achievement is getting an A.S. in medical assisting from Cuesta College and my state of California Phlebotomy license

I am a personable, educated and experienced caregiver. I have 30 years of dedicated service to families and their loved ones. A previous CNA and educated in the nursing sciences I strive to bring the best care and most importantly, the respect and love for the patient and family that is needed during trying times.
I love helping people and seeing them smile. Every senior requires their own level of assistance but also like to be independent as well, I have an appreciation for everyone's abilities and love giving help and support to assist with their disabilities. I was recently the caregiver for an elderly man named Jack for the past three years. Unfortunately he has passed. Jack was 90 when he passed. I worked with him for 3 years and it was my absolute pleasure. He had Parkinson's disease as well as onset dementia and needed extensive care with most aspects of ADL's but could perform certain tasks independently. This has taught me that not all peoples limitations are the same, we must work to figure out strengths and weaknesses so we can be of assistance and not take away ones independence.

I love Beach, Travel, children, self motivated, outgoing, and Love nutrition. MY health is very important.

I am interested in doing the best I can on a daily basis which means giving care fits me. I was in a serious accident and lost my voice. I was able to become a caregiver by helping out around the house and driving others to their appointments. While my voice healed the job requirements changed, I did more for Bernice and her family as she started declining in her health. I was with her and her husband for about two years. I helped establish a system in their house so that they both could age without worry. I was more than a worker I became part of their family. When Bernice became bed stricken I decided to go back to school. Now I am licensed and ready for an opportunity to become successful. :->
