I am a mother of 3. Caring for others has ALWAYS been in my soul. I cared for my grandparents as a child just trying to help and be around them. I have been a care giver since I was 15 I love working with the elderly or even the young who just need some help. I am reliable, compassionate and understanding. I enjoy being with someone and knowing I am making it easier for them in what can be the last years of their life. I learn to care for your family members how they want and need and grow to love them like my own! I love to cook and championship is my favorite. Hello. I have been a caregiver in Oakmont, an adult community in Santa Rosa since June 2015. I have worked with clients who suffered strokes, falls, dementia, cancer, back surgeries and just about everything in between. Any one of these families would happily give me an excellent reference-- so please do check my references. Prior to Oakmont, I worked for different hospices in Walnut Creek and San Luis Obispo while raising my family. I genuinely enjoy working with clients in their final stages of life. They have taught me so much about how to live fully despite the inevitable limitations of aging. Some days are better than others for all of us. On the tougher days, I try to keep everyone focused on appreciating the here and now. I also like to keep clients active both physically and mentally, if possible. I enjoy preparing meals loaded with fresh fruits and greens and I make a mean stew too.
