I have been a care giver since I was 15 I love working with the elderly or even the young who just need some help. I am reliable compassionate and patient. I enjoy being with someone and knowing I am making it easier for someone. I like to cook and championship is my favorite. My job is done when I know I have made my client feel safe loved and cared for how they want and deserve to be treated.
Iam an experienced CNA and have been working around Sonoma County for the last 8 years taking care of Senior elderly. Very fluent with written and verbal English and Iam thorough with directions and instructions so as with documentation. My specialties especially with male care and I consider myself sociable and entertaining. Iam thorough with all scopes of CNA responsibilities from daily exercises to showers and medicine assistance. I have cared for seniors with dementia, cancer, MS, patients recovering from hip surgery, Stroke Patients, hospice patients and many more. I have excellent references which you can contact. I am passionate about my work as a caregiver as I love working with the elderly (I learn a lot from them and they remind me so much of my own grandparents), and I treat them with love and respect. I also do my work with dedication and determination to make them feel comfortable and happy. I treat them as if they're part of my family so the atmosphere can be pleasant and enjoyable for both of us. B
Working for the boys and girls club made me realize how much of a people person I am, but made me want to help people as much as possible. So I decided to pursue nursing as a career. I'm starting off with CNA/HHA because it's one on one direct contact and interaction with the patient. I have 4 years experience as a caregiver, I'm well experience with hoyer lift, sit to stand lift, catheter care, bed sores, aphasia, and my specialty is in dementia/Alzheimer's.
Since early childhood I knew I wanted to be helpful to those requiring care, transportation and companionship which I have done as an Emergency Medical Provider, Cardiology Technologist, Ward Attendant, Operating Room Technician and other roles I found placing a distance between the patients and I. Then a yearning to return to the patient side, remain at the grass roots level and know them as more than just a patient or client developed. Providing care at the end of life, hospice and palliative care as a member of an interdisciplinary team has allowed me to do that albeit so often a short time. These and other care giving roles both by assignment and private duty on my own have allowed for the benefit of incredible wisdom they have to share. Even those younger than I would often either rekindle an old life lesson or some such experience I had learned from and simply placed somewhere out of the way. Even a surprisingly new and often profound lesson or knowledge that in all my years I hadn't already known or been privy to would be realized. I am truly proud to have taken the knowledge and experience gained back to patients, co-workers, peers as well as other upper echelon staff. My ability to have mentored countless others either entering or developing themselves in chosen careers has been a greatly fulfilling addition to my personal growth and development. Sharing what knowledge and experience one has to offer others including family members is an especially rewarding part of caregiving.
Dear Client, First and foremost I am interested in providing the family with peace of mind. I want the family and client to know that they are at good hands. I do my best to provide the care I know with the knowledge I have learned. I can provide basic care needs with love and the attention it deserved, such as: cooking, cleaning, and keeping an eye out for the details that make people happy and that is necessary. Helping my mom was what attracted me to being a caregiver. She is limited in her mobility and I help with the groceries upstairs. I also help her shop at Costco where help is needed there. I enjoyed helping her and one day I realized I might be able to help other people. I am proud to help people one achievement I am proud of is graduating my college with honors at a 3.9 GPA. I gave a speech and I was elated.

Hello. I have been a caregiver in Oakmont, an adult community in Santa Rosa since June 2015. I have worked with clients who suffered strokes, falls, dementia, cancer, heart and back surgeries and everything in between. Any one of these families would happily give me an excellent reference-- so please do check my references. Prior to Oakmont, I worked for three different hospices in Walnut Creek and San Luis Obispo while raising a family. I genuinely enjoy working with clients in their final stages of life. They have taught me so much about the process of aging, patience, and acceptance of limitations. Some days are better than others for all of us. On the tougher days, I try to keep everyone focused on appreciating the here and now. I also like to keep clients as active as possible (mentally or physically) and eating fresh nutritious meals--even if they are blended:)
I have a lot experience working with elderly people. I have experience with both ( man , woman). I assisted them with daily activities. Took walks, helped with physical exercises. Assisted them to get in the shower and made sure he, she was safe. Did shopping and drove to doctors. I am an lovely person. I am organized, honest, patient, clean and responsible. Flexible when needed. Thank you. Alexandra.
I'm a very caring and reliable person ,commited as well. I have been a caregiver for the past ten years (10) working in Assited Living Facility and Behavior Health Homes in Arizona.I moved to California in 2015 and also worked in a Private Care Homes in Granite Bay , and worked part time as private caregiver to clients through agencies .I have looked after my mother and mother in law whilst they were still with me and I understand and have empathy about being a caregiver because you give all your best to look after your loved ones. During my time as a caregiver I have managed to give the most possible care to other elderly people who came into the home without walking and were able to walk after exercises and ensuring that they are able to do it with lots of trust in both our parts . I'm able to say that I enjoy spending time with the elderly and ensuring that they are well taken care of. I I enjoy what I do and that is being the best in ensuring that at the end of the day ,everyone is happy .
