My name is Sadera Johnson. I am a pca at waterbury hospital. I have experience with pediatrics, nicu, senior care and psych patients. I also have worked in nursing homes and home care. I believe i am a great caregiver because I love helping people. From a young age I always loved taking care of and helping other people. I believe in order to be a great caregiver you have to be a very empathetic person and that I am. I think what I love about my job is knowing the little difference I can make in a person's life everyday. To see someone else happy and knowing I was apart of that makes me proud.

I would have to say when I was younger I worked in a convalescent home with my aunt. It was one of my first jobs. This lady named Charlotte we so enjoyed each other's company. She had a sweet tooth, loved choc. eclairs, as I do.. We used to talk and laugh and she really left a mark on my heart. I felt such a happy feeling to be with her, as she did with me. I am a hard worker I am dedicated. I also worked with a woman whom fell down the stairs backwards and was paralyzed, she was a professor in the city helping city kids who did not have much. I learned so much from that woman, I believe I needed her more than she needed me. We would prepare supper and clean her house do errands go to park, Dr. appointments It was a very nice relationship. I'd have to say I'm proud of the work I did and what kinds of morals they taught me about life. How time is priceless. What makes me a great caregiver, I am very attentive, reliable caring person. Putting their welfare first. Making them happy. I have a good sense of humor and desire to work with them. I have medical office experience as well as the beginning of my experience and story.
